Well, ok. I do live here, but I mean… I think I could CHOOSE to live here. Long term.
We went to a BBQ recently at a park we’d never been to, and I was thrilled to discover that it was a huge, beautiful area that encouraged dogs!
There’s just something so friendly, inviting, and neighborly about a dog park. People chat and enjoy the fresh air, letting their dogs do their dog things. Dog people tend to be my kind of people.
There is one downside of going to a park, however.
That Scott Bean loves to throw frisbees. I grew up “with” frisbees and “around” frisbees, but never quite mastered the art of throwing them further than 12 feet with much consistency. Many brave souls have tried to teach me, but I invariably resort to this kind of awkward “fling” technique that never quite gets the job done.
One day we will just have to have kids who can throw frisbees long distances so Scott can finally “go long” when we get to a park. 🙂
