Learning about Christmas

Me: This is a stable. It is where animals live and it is where baby Jesus was born. Jesus was born in a stable. Do you know where Mackenzie was born?

Mackenzie, after pausing to think: In a tortilla.

    I re-read this tonight.

I can’t believe she didn’t say a “whole wheat tortilla”. Come on Bobe, if you’re going to teach her what’s important, at least go the more nutrient-dense way. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hope she had a fab birthday!!!

Haha Liz. In our house we only have “tortillas” and “corn tortillas”. I don’t bother to call stuff whole wheat because I don’t have anything but whole wheat around. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Just like “bread” is just “bread”, and not “homemade whole wheat bread”. Girlie doesn’t know anything different.
