Ringlets, bananas, airports, and ruins… but most of these pictures are just because. 🙂
EDITED TO ADD (duh): All photos by my father, Chris MacAskill
Mexico – Sayulita
SmugMug put us up in amazing villas, right on the beach with beautiful pools.
Mackenzie earned (at least?) two new nicknames on the trip. One of them was simply “The Mooch”. Anytime anyone would bust out some food, she was on the case.
Mexico City Airport
Note the lack of humidity, as evidenced by Mackenzie’s straight hair.
We scored at a super-healthy restaurant with green juices, veggie wraps and multigrain pancakes.
We ate out a meal every few days, but mainly we stopped at fruit stands and sought out whole grain breads at local bakeries.
Mackenzie’s first banana gift.
Oh man, did I forget to mention the street beans and rice with onion sauce? After the first taste, I was hooked and we pulled the car over more than once when I would spy a bean and rice lady by the side of the road.
This is the jaguar who gave Scott a shampoo.
More to come.
