Because some things must be documented

When Mackenzie had been up in her crib talking to herself for an hour and a half without napping, I sent Scott up to investigate.

After scoping out the situation, he requested my presence. I headed upstairs wondering what could possibly require TWO parents to handle?

I walked into her room and immediately ducked into the bathroom instead to let out a fit of smothered chuckles. Girlfriend was standing up in her crib, clothes scattered at her feet, diaper tossed overboard, clutching her beloved blanket and smiling happily now that her favorite people had joined her in her room.

It was a parenting test of epic proportions. Would I cave and reveal how hilarious and talented I thought she was? Or would I keep a straight face in her presence and pull off a serious talking-to about the importance of diaper-wearing during naps?

Let’s just say it was a little of both. đŸ˜€

Oh yes. We’ve had one too many of those experiences. They think they are so clever. Ok, they are.
