Look, Mama! I’m an umbrella

More low-quality photos that mean something to me

All the stomach sickness on our trip led to homemade fruit juice popsicles. Here is iPhone documentation of my girl’s first (and only) popsicle in her life. She was a fan:

We drove up and visited some great friends of ours from Columbus and we were thrilled to find they had started eating very similar foods to us! They served fantastic glazed tofu with collard greens over quinoa with oven-baked tomatoes, and lots of other yummy veggies. I was in heaven.

The day Mackenzie stops sucking her blanket when she sleeps, I will cry a little. I won’t shed any tears over the decrease in laundry I have to do, though. We have those blankets on a strict 48 hour rotation.

Quality Aunt time on our recent trip: cards with Aunt Melanie and manicures by Aunt Kristin.
