No photos of the bedroom yet, though I will say the transition to a big girl bed has gone remarkably well. I made her a duvet cover and she’s currently nestled under way-too-big-for-summer comforter and snoozing happily away. Never mind she spent the first two hours of her nap playing “dress up” in there without me knowing. Hehe.

We braved the zoo on one frigid day in March, and we were nearly the only ones!

Visiting family in April and practicing for the arrival of our own new baby:

Our good friend did a quick ultrasound during our visit and guessed (correctly, as it turns out) that we were having a girl! It was lovely to see the baby healthy and well since we still had a month before we’d be back in Columbus for the official scan.

I tried on THE most ridiculous maternity pants ever made. Seriously. Watch and learn…

Not too bad when you can’t see the waistband…

Major fail. The panel is sewn a few inches below the waistband, creating an unfortunate effect:
