Seen On The iPhone

(I’m sorry to say, this pic was taken during our second food throwdown with Mackenzie. She literally napped at the dinner table.)

Her stuffed animals get the royal treatment.

Out to eat at Northstar Cafe (my favorite splurge) after a gorgeous New Year’s Day at the zoo seeing wildlights and soaking up my little family. Scott had New Year’s off rather than Christmas, and we took full advantage.

Pattern blocks are a huge hit around here.

We’ve had lots of playdates at our house lately. On one memorable afternoon, I made homemade split pea soup and a berry smoothie (ok, ok, so it had fresh spinach in it). Mackenzie happily dug in but her poor little friend clutched the goldfish crackers she brought from home and just looked warily at the meal I put in front of her.

Sorry, friend. Next time you come over we’ll try to have something that is not green to eat.

It took me a dozen tries to french braid Mackenzie’s hair for her first day of Primary at church, and I only somewhat succeeded. Try, try again, Anne!
