A new generation

We made a special trip to the library to pick out a read-aloud book together, and as we drove away my three year old asked from the back seat:
“Can I hold Charlotte’s Website on the way home?”

I was absorbed in reading a book today and that same three year old called out from the adjacent room, “Oh man! We’ve got some major fail going on here.”

As it turns out, the rings were stacked improperly on her baby sister’s toy. I’m not sure how that qualifies as “major fail”, or how those words made it into her vocabulary at such a young age. Surely she didn’t hear them from me. 🙂

Ah, to be born in 2007.
